Which camera do you use for your blog photos/videos?

Until December of 2014, I was using the Fujifilm FinePix HS30EXR digital camera. The quality is really nice and has auto-focus, which really came in handy for filming. I would definitely recommend this camera for beginners. It is very easy to learn and get the hang of quickly.

Now, I use the Canon EOS Rebel T3i and I am in love with this camera. I was very fortunate to receive this as a Christmas gift from my parents, and it hands down the best camera that I have ever used. It is definitely a step up from the Fujifilm camera. It is also an extremely popular camera used among bloggers and YouTubers. The quality of it is outstanding, one reason being is that it has the option for manual focus, which Fujifilm did not have. It also is a true DSLR camera with a detachable lens. I highly recommend this one, no questions asked. As of January of 2016, I have started using the Canon 40mm f/2.8 lens for videos and photos. This is one of the best lens if you are looking for a great depth of field and getting that blurry background in your photos and videos. I switch back and forth between this lens and my kit lens, the Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.

Which program do you use to edit your photos/edit videos?

For photos, until January of 2016 I was using iPhoto that came on my MacBook. It does the basics, but for more advance editing or to make a collage, I used foto editor or picmokey, which are both free online editors. As of January 2016, I now use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom to edit my photos. If it deals with graphic design, I use Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. If it's from my instagram, I use Afterlight or VSCOcam.

Until January of 2016, for my YouTube videos, I was using iMovie that came on my MacBook. It is very easy to learn and does all the basics of video editing that I needed. As of May 2016, I use Final Cut Pro X for all of my video editing.
